Anchor Books Australia focuses on publishing non-fiction books regarding Australia’s colonial history and we are happy to accept unsolicited manuscripts in this genre.

Send the Anchor Books Australia manuscript submission form and three sample chapters to:

Send manuscripts in hard copy (rather than electronically), single-sided and double-spaced. Include a self-addressed envelope and sufficient postage for return. We recycle rejected manuscripts not accompanied by return postage and cannot be responsible for loss of material. We do not send out acknowledgement of receipt of manuscripts.

We endeavour to respond to all submissions, although assessment may take up to three months.
